As a concert photojournalist, I shot and wrote for Valley Hype, KWSS, and the AZ Republic. I'm super grateful for the opportunities & experiences during those crazy, music-filled years. Eventually, bands and concerts and festivals turned into couples and engagements and weddings. I believe that photojournalistic eye I developed as a live music photographer helps me capture your wedding day in a way that others don't. I see your rock star moves and raise you one magazine style shot!
My work has been featured in places like Wedding Chicks, The Perfect Palette, So This Is Love, Borrowed & Blue, Ultimate Wedding Magazine, How They Asked, and other leading industry publications. Which is an honor. But I'm way more stoked to have received a steady 5/5 star rating from my couples.
None of that matters though without the experience, the fun, and the incredible results that every #MindyPhoto couple feels when they look back through their photographs. 01. Travel + Adventure
My hubby and I MET in Mexico!! We even had some wedding photos done on the beach in Rocky Point, MX – and yes, those are some of our absolute favorite images!! I LOVE to travel and I find that the more adventurous the couple, the more EPIC the photos. I’ve shot several Destination Weddings and Adventurous Elopements & Engagement Sessions (MY FAV!!), and would love to photograph yours!
02. Moments
They're the most important part of the day. The in-between moments time tries to steal away. That’s why for much of your day, you’ll see me (or won’t see me) in bushes or behind trees, shooting through windows and doors, looking for other vantage points, and constantly watching & waiting, not only get a different perspective, but also to capture those candid, raw, REAL moments.
03. Black & White
I adore black and white images. They capture the true essence of the moment, they feature the emotion, and they you stop and take a 2nd look. This is why they often-times turn out to be my favorites! That being said, because many couples prefer color, I generally create and deliver only approximately 10% of your wedding images in black & white, unless you prefer otherwise!
