Question: What do you get when you take a stunningly beautiful Bride, a strikingly handsome Groom, their going-to-be-a-heartbreaker son, and 14 gorgeous bridesmaids & groomsmen, bring them all in from Canada, put them in an amazing Sonoran desert setting, and mix in a cocktail or two?

Answer: You get an Epic Wedding!

And here’s the crazy part: they planned it all in 3 months! They wanted an outdoor wedding. And since winter in Alberta is not exactly what you would call temperate (way too cold for a strapless gown), Pam and Dan decided to transport the party to Phoenix.

How do you pull off a wedding in a different country in 90 days? Well, first you have some serious planning & organizing skills. Second, you have fabulous friends (and maybe one of them has a beautiful home with a beautiful yard in the Valley of the Sun). Last, you focus on what’s important: family, friendship, fun. You bring all your joy and love and emotion to the forefront and you decide what really matters. And in the end, you spend the best day of your lives enjoying every single second, having a killer party surrounded by so much love and happiness that it ends with people in the pool (in formal attire). Now that’s a party, eh?

And that’s what they did. Every single one of these awesome Canadians had an absolute blast. And I had so much fun documenting their day, I didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Pam and Dan and Graysen, for letting me be a small part of your adventure. Your story brought me to tears, your humor doubled me over, and your love inspires me endlessly. 💕
