He changes song lyrics and substitutes in her name. Jennie mixes. That’s what he calls them. He sings them spontaneously, surprising her, but does it so well it’s as if he’d written the song himself. Or as if the song was actually about her. The truth is, they are. For him. Every sweet melody and lovely harmony he hears makes him think of her.

The met at work, and clicked instantly. On their first date, she knew, he was the one. They have fun when they’re together, regardless of what they’re doing. From hiking and adventuring, to football games and movies, taking trips and having amazing meals, spending time with family and going to church, and even just relaxing… it’s all better when they are side by side.  And it’s obvious that along with the joy, there is a comfort they bring to each other.

We spent some time together on a gorgeous spring day for their engagement session at Tempe Town Lake. There was a nice breeze, and the temperature was perfect, just like these two. Jennie and Boyd had photos taken previously, so they were naturals in front of the camera. They were so sweet together, I know their wedding will be full of love, and I’m certain that whatever love song plays… it will be about them! 💕

Congratulations Jennie + Boyd! I can’t wait for your wedding later this month!
